HOMELITE'S ROOTS RUN DEEP
Founded in 1921 through Charles H. Ferguson's attempt to design a
small, lightweight gasoline-driven generator at his home in Port
Chester, New York, the Home Electric Lighting Company later became
known as Homelite. Throughout the years, Homelite has delivered
many innovative products to homeowners.
Homelite Consumer Products manufactures a full-line of handheld
outdoor power equipment including: string trimmers, blowers, chain
saws, hedge trimmers, pressure washers, water pumps, a new line of generators and outdoor accessories for the consumer and do-it-yourselfer.
