Reducing Engine Emissions – Advancing Clean Air technology
to lower emissions
– Run at least 20% below required emission levels
– Develop new engines that beat proposed 2011 standards
– Voluntarily implement low permeability tanks in all 50 states
– Develop engines that have optimum fuel efficiency

Reducing Engine Noise levels to meet appropriate ANSI Standards
–Focus on reducing noise by conducting sound isolation research and developing solutions with targets below 65 dB(A)

Reducing Product Weight – through fewer and lighter weight components
– Reducing material used in building our products makes them lighter and less aluminum & plastic gets to the landfill.

Reducing Packaging Content and promoting recycling and re-use
– Increase use of recycled raw materials & packaging materials.
