Homelite adds three new lightweight hedge trimmers
Blades range between 17 and 22 inches
Extension unit reaches up to 10 feet five inches
Homelite®, manufacturer of renowned and reliable outdoor products since 1946, has added three new electric hedgers to its line of lightweight outdoor products. The 2.7 amp hand held hedge trimer has a 3/8-inch cutting capacity as well as a 17-inch dual reciprocating blade. For more power and a larger cut, the 3.7 amp hand held hedge trimmer is equipped with a 22-inch dual reciprocating blade and ½-inch cutting capacity.
The 2.7 amp powered pole hedge trimmer reaches to 10-feet 5-inches and offers a 17-inch blade and ¾-inch cutting capacity. All three hedger trimmers are extremely lightweight, at 4.6, 5.5 and 7.3 lbs each.
The new electric hedge trimmers will be available exclusively at The Home Depot in January 2008. They will come with a 2-year warranty.

Three new lightweight and powerful saws added to Homelite lineup
14-inch and 16-inch saws offer powerful motors
15-foot reach on pole saw allows for amazing coverage
Homelite®, manufacturer of renowned and reliable outdoor products since 1946, has added three electric chain saws to its line of lightweight outdoor equipment. A 14-inch, 16-inch and 8-inch pole saw with 15-foot reach will be available in the spring of 2008.
The saws are powered by 9 amp, 12 amp and 6 amp motors respectively and also feature auto-oiler and oil level windows. The 14-inch and 16-inch models also feature tool-less chain tension control. Like other electric products in the Homelite lineup each saw is very light weight with the14-inch saw weighing 6.5 pounds, the 16-inch saw eight pounds and the pole saw weighing just seven pounds.
Each saw will be sold exclusively at The Home Depot and come with a 2-year warranty.
